Welcome. Here is a great picture that I took of my 1998 BMW 540i. It has tons of options - comfort seats, rear electric sunshade, sport package. The one thing that it doesn't come with is navigation. I found some info on the web about people who have done a retrofit to their BMW's. This sparked my interest and started the drain on my budget. I ordered the parts on October 24 2003 - and finished the project in about a week. This website will detail my progress for all to learn and try themselves. Though I not much a firm believer in adding a disclaimer, I guess I'd just like to say you take your own car in your hands when you do this project and your mileage will vary. Good luck and if you have any questions in your process, please feel free to email me at travis at travisbeste dot com
UPDATE: In January I planned on selling the car to relieve my debt load. Well, as it turns out I recouped my cost for the nav system by selling it and my car no longer has the nav system. And as fate would have it, I didn't end up selling the BMW either! Hopefully in the near future I'll be reinstalling the nav system again.
UPDATE: I sold this car to make way for my Imola Red 2000 BMW M5.
